hey guys it's lindsey and welcome back, to another video, today i'm going to be showing you how to, fix your youtube app when it's not, showing comments, so let's jump right on into it the first, thing you want to do, is make sure your app is updated so, let's head on into the app store, in the top search bar i'm going to type, in youtube, to the right of youtube it'll either say, update or open, if it says update that means you need to, update your app if it says open that, means your app, is fully up to date we make sure an app, is updated because it, usually gets rid of any bugs or any lags, anything that is, wrong with the app is fixed in the next, update so you always want to make sure, your app is updated, so i'm going to go ahead and open up, youtube for this next hack, you're going to want to make sure you're, logged into a google account, so go to the upper right hand corner and, click on your profile photo, and i am logged in to my google account, you'll want to make sure you're logged, in to your google account to see, comments sometimes when you're not, logged in comments do not show up, another thing you can do is turn off, restricted mode within your youtube app, so we're going to go down to the bottom, of the page and click on settings, and then you're going to scan down to, the middle of the page where it says, restricted mode, restricted mode helps hide potentially, mature videos and comments so i'm going, to go ahead and toggle that off, if none of these things worked and, brought back your comments, there's one more thing we can do we're, going to go ahead and offload the app, so i'm going to go to settings from, settings i'm going to go to general, and from general i'm going to click on, iphone storage, i'm going to go ahead and scroll down to, where it says youtube, and go ahead and click on that, and then i'm going to click offload app, and then confirm it what this does is it, clears the cache, in the app it kind of is a reset for the, app, and then you can go ahead and reinstall, the app, and you have successfully offloaded your, app, i hope one of these things helped you, guys if they did please like and, subscribe to this channel, if you have any comments or questions, about this tutorial please leave them in, the comment section below, thank you so much for watching bye guys
