about five years ago reddit videos were, all the rage on youtube they were the, low hanging fruit you could create a, reddit video in about 20 minutes post it, on youtube and get hundreds of thousands, of views and get monetized and make a, bunch of money it was actually really, easy you would go find a popular, subreddit you'd copy the text from that, subreddit put it right into an ai, robotic voice software spit it out put, it on on youtube and you have a bunch of, money about two years ago youtube really, cut down on this and they actually, started demonetizing videos and people, still wonder can you monetize reddit, stories on youtube so in this video i'm, going to show you how you can do it and, increase your chances of being monetized, from the youtube partner program and, other potentially better ways that you, can make money so if you want to learn, how to monetize reddit videos over on, youtube make sure you watch this entire, video let's go ahead and get right into, it i'm going to show you some examples, of channels that are doing it correctly, we're going to talk about all the, different opportunities that you have, out there so this video is going to be, really impactful if you want to get, started with youtube and reddit videos i, want to show you an example of a channel, that is currently doing what i'm going, to do so if we jump into my computer, here i'm going to show you this channel, it is called our space if we take a look, our space is, one of the more popular reddit channels, out there as you can see they have 59, 000 subscribers and this channel is, actually fairly new um there was a, similar channel out there it got, demonetized and so they really just shut, the channel down and they're actually, doing it this way which we're going to, talk about in just a moment if we look, at their oldest video you can see that, their oldest video is just one year so, within one year they've been able to, accumulate almost 60 000 subscribers and, i'm going to show you exactly what, they're doing i'm not going to show you, the video of course because i don't want, to get demonetized but i'm going to show, you what they're doing how you can do it, too in a variety of ways so the first, thing that they're doing is they're, jumping over to reddit and whenever you, go to reddit i want you to be careful, because there is a lot of not safe for, work stuff over on reddit so you want to, make sure that you are navigating in the, right spot so now that we're over here, on reddit we can type in something like, relationship we can type in health, wealth uh, marriage counseling marriage fail, anything along those lines but i'm just, gonna type in a relationship just like, this and hit enter, and what you're going to want to do is, you're going to want to find the top, communities that have a ton of posts we, can click on communities and then as you, can see here we've got relationship, advice relationship with 3.2 million, members let's just click on that one for, the ease of of simplicity and what you, can do next is go up to, um top, and then we can sort by the top post, within the last month week day of all, time so we're just going to do this year, and you're going to see that there are, tons of posts now what people are doing, from here is where it's kind of it's, much different than what they were doing, about three four five years ago and, ultimately got demonetized so at this, point what people would do is simply, just click on, this video for example or this this, subreddit post and they would just copy, this and then put it into ai software, and then they would just overlay some, text above it and they would magically, make a bunch of money as i mentioned, that is no longer the case with youtube, what you have to do now is you have to, actually have a human read it now, there's actually a few ways to do this, and i've seen this in a couple different, uh reddit type youtube channels you can, either, first introduce yourself this is also, with another relationship video um tell, me what you think in the comments below, this is going to help make you seem, human this is actually going to help, your increase your chances of getting, monetized and so basically what you're, doing is you're going to do an, introduction you're then going to read, these posts on from from reddit you're, going to ask questions to the the, community, and elicit responses so again this is, what you're gonna do you're going to, find one of these for example it says my, husband is reluctant to be intimate with, me after i was in a major accident so, what you're going to do is you're going, to say hey this is all stim with, relationship expert subreddit and i've, got a brand new story here today where a, husband does not want to be intimate, with the wife after a major accident, tell me what you think in the comments, below then you go off and you simply, either read this yourself or you hire, someone to read it for you if you want, to hire someone to read it for you you, don't want to do it yourself you can use, a website like fiverr or even, onlinejobs.ph i'll put a link to, onlinejobs.ph in the description of the, video but you can find someone, to read this for you for, less than i would say thirty dollars per, video probably closer to fifteen dollars, per video depending on the number of, words uh another thing that you can do, is you can ask the person that is, reading this to just record themselves, while they're reading it uh grab a, smartphone or a dslr camera and record, themselves reading it and another, reddit subreddit that i've seen is they, actually have a person down at the very, bottom of the corner and probably like, it takes up maybe like an eighth or a, tenth of the the actual screen, reading the the actual subreddit almost, like a podcast type of thing but you you, don't actually see her face but you can, see that she's reading it and that's, going to be a way to increase your, chances of getting monetized with reddit, but i've got some other better, opportunities for you in just a moment, and so what you're going to do once, again is you're going to basically, follow the same process that they were, doing about five years ago the major, difference is you're actually going to, have a human read it you can still grab, the text from the subreddit put it on, the screen it doesn't even have to be, rolling or over complicated once again, you could hire someone to do this for, you for, minimal amount of money so once you have, all of that put together you're going to, upload these right into youtube now what, you want to do is you want to make sure, that you're uploading at least daily, because this in reality doesn't take a, ton of time energy or effort and you can, potentially start making money and what, you need to do in order to be a part of, the youtube partner program is you need, to have four thousand watch hours and, one thousand subscribers in a rolling, one year period of time so basically, what that means is starting today you, need to accumulate 1 000 subscribers and, 4 000 watch hours within one year, and this is a rolling period of time and, then you can apply but but i have some, better ways that you can start making, money faster let's say it takes you six, months to get to that, youtube partner program application or, let's say you apply and you're denied, i've got some better opportunities to, help you make money so one thing that i, recommend that you do is you go out and, find different affiliate programs that, the person might be interested in for, example people that are reading about, relationship advice might be struggling, with their own relationships and what, you can do is you can partner with a, website like udemy and you could, actually recommend these different, relationship programs help them with, their relationships now for example if, you recommend someone over udemy you can, earn a commission anytime a new person, signs up you can see there are there are, tons of different courses for happy, marriages and relationships but this is, just one way another thing that you, could do is you can actually sell your, own digital product now the cool thing, about this is you don't actually have to, create your own digital product you can, use something called private label, rights or plr to make money for example, i typed in just relationships over in, qualityplr.com, and as you can see on the screen they, have personal development wisdom, courses that you could buy for 35 and, then turn around and sell it for 10 you, get five sales you've already made your, money back you can see there are, different ebooks that you can buy and, turn around and sell these ebooks range, anywhere between 4.99 and 30 dollars so, what you'd want to do here is you'd want, to find one that's related to the reddit, subreddit that you're using, down buy it download it and then you can, sell it, you could sell it through like wordpress, you could sell it through gumroad there, are just a number of these websites that, you can quickly create a sales page and, the cool thing with a website like, gumroad is you don't have to worry about, payment processing you just send them, over there they buy it and you can make, money now the key to this the key to, these better ways to make money is you, have to find ways that are congruent or, in line with what the target audience, wants again if someone is looking up, relationship subreddit they might be, struggling with their own relationship, and they just want different ways to, improve it you can do the same thing for, any of the other subreddits out there, maybe there's a mlb or a baseball, subreddit that you want to, transfer or port over to youtube you, could go out and be an affiliate for the, mlb, shop affiliate program so there's just a, number of ways to make money if we take, a look at different affiliate, opportunities there's actually a website, here with 21 best dating affiliate, programs with high commissions so, eharmony has an affiliate program tinder, has an affiliate program and you could, make money sending people over to these, different sugar daddy meet has an, affiliate program um you can make money, sending people over to these different, opportunities there's also affiliate, programs for, and this is an interesting interesting, one that i really like is a better help, online counseling and, therapy they'll pay out 175 dollars to, you if you refer them so again the, process is actually going to be really, simple you're going to create these, reddit youtube videos and then in the, links of your description you can add in, affiliate programs to let's say this, better help online counseling and anyone, anytime someone clicks on your affiliate, link which is your unique url and makes, a purchase better help online counseling, will pay you 175 dollars so this is a in, my opinion a much better way a much, faster way to start generating some, passive income with a reddit youtube, channel it's more reliable because again, youtube could change their terms of, service and then no longer allow any of, these reddit type youtube channels but, if you've got affiliate marketing setup, if you're selling your own digital, products that's a better opportunity of, course you can also do things like, selling merch from teespring that's a, really easy way to go i'm sure people, already talk about that, you basically just create a store and, then you can sell stuff with your logo, with different sayings things of that, nature and you can make money but in my, opinion the best way to monetize a, reddit subreddit is either with private, label rights products that are congruent, or in line with what the target target, audience expects or even with affiliate, marketing as you can see here 175 payout, for simply having people click on their, link and get the help that they're, already seeking so once again just to, sum this up how to monetize a reddit, subreddit type youtube channel you want, to make sure that you're either creating, the content yourself with your own, voiceover or hire someone to do it for, as little as 10 or 15 dollars again, depending on the number of words you, want to make sure that you still have, text on the screen, one tip two is to also have the text in, the background be moving, so that it's not 100 static you could, actually increase your chances of being, monetized if you use b-roll from a, website like storybox or pixels and then, you can look at these different ways to, monetize i also recommend that you, upload frequently since this isn't, terribly difficult and you're just going, to be reading text from the screen you, should be able to upload at least one, time per day also make sure that you, introduce yourself in the channel ask, for likes subscribes and comments and, you can go from there now that you know,
