bit of them, or online and i know a lot of creators, will say the time that you actually post, doesn't really matter but it couldn't be, further from the truth especially if, you're uploading content that is, newsworthy or content that doesn't have, a very long shelf life for example if, elon musk just did something in the news, and you need to upload a video about, that day to make sure that you actually, rank for the search then it does matter, what time you're actually uploading so, please make sure you're actually paying, attention to that and the second thing, you need to be paying attention to when, it comes to what time you're actually, posting is how long you wait in between, each post i strongly suggest waiting at, least an hour in between posts i see a, lot of shorts creators that'll upload, two three four five six seven eight, videos a day and i'm not saying that's, wrong but you need to make sure that, you're waiting the minimum amount of, time in between posts because if you're, not then odds are you're not getting the, views that you should be getting because, if you don't wait a long enough period, of time to actually upload your piece of, content those pieces of content are not, going to be eligible to show on, somebody's shorts feed over and over and, over again so i strongly suggest that, you wait at least an hour in between, posting now we need to talk about, something if you're new to youtube right, now you're a small channel or you're a, big channel it's trying to grow even, quicker you need to make sure that, you're uploading on youtube shorts you, need to understand something about, supply and demand on youtube youtube, keeps trying to push shorts to the top, by doing a few things one shorts now, show way more in search results in fact, if you're on a mobile device their, shorts only search so you need to make, sure that you're taking advantage of, this the second thing shorts feed the, shorts have their own feed that is like, nothing on youtube in fact if you open, up mobile device for a lot of people it, defaults goes to that short speed which, obviously shows that youtube is trying, to push shorts the third thing that, they're doing they're allowing you to, now clip long form piece of content to, create shorts content because they want, a strategy that is both shorts focused, and long-term focused if you actually, look at like 80 to 90 percent of people, that actually watch youtube are doing it, from a mobile device and tick tock is, also on a mobile device and so is, instagram reels so youtube knows that, they need to be taking this seriously, which is why if you're posting on, youtube shorts right now it is by far, the best chance that you have to go, viral it is by far the best chance that, you have to get a lot of views because, to be quite frank uploading a long-form, piece of content on youtube that goes, viral or gets a lot of views when you, don't have a lot of subscribers is, incredibly hard it's way easier to keep, somebody's attention get the watch time, or click through rate that youtube wants, with a short form video that's 15 30 40, 60 seconds long as opposed to uploading, a 5 minute 10 minute 20 minute or even a, 30 minute video, that being said now you now know that, you need to be uploading youtube shorts, there are a couple strategies that, really work when it comes to youtube, shorts if you also put out long form, content then i would only recommend, uploading youtube shorts on the days, that you're not posting a long-form, piece of content and what i would do is, before you upload a long-form piece of, content i would create two to three, shorts about that topic the reason being, is that shorts and long-form content are, actually interacting with each other on, youtube so when somebody watches your, short-form piece of content about the, best cryptocurrency and then you upload, a long-form piece of content about that, those people are going to get, recommended that piece of content in, addition to that youtube is going to be, looking at the type of people that watch, short form crypto stuff and then they're, going to expose that long-form piece of, content so ultimately what you're doing, is expanding that audience for that long, form piece of content that being said, this doesn't mean that if you upload a, long-form piece of content that it's, automatically going to do well it also, has to be a good post that clicks rate, has to be good the average view duration, has to be good which a lot of shorts, creators are struggling with because, they're really good at creating short, form content but the principles that go, into creating short form content and, long form content are completely, different the second strategy i'd, recommend you implementing if you're a, short form creator is uploading multiple, times a day most youtube shorts creators, that are seeing a lot of success are, uploading anywhere from two to eight, times a day i think the sweet spot in, there is four times and basically the, strategy that i would take is i would, upload several times a day on youtube, shorts until you get a number one video, once you have a number one video i would, stop uploading for the day the reason, being that video is gonna continue to, take off if you don't know what a number, one video is it's a video that's gotten, a ton of views in the first 30 minutes, and has performed better than the other, 10 videos that you've uploaded i would, strongly suggest that you do this so the, way that i would approach it i would, upload a video if it's not number one i, would upload another video an hour later, if it's not number one i would upload, another video an hour later now i'm not, saying that you have to do this because, i know for a lot of you you're sitting, here saying rob i don't have the time to, be able to do this now i understand that, so i'm not saying you have to do this, but if you do have the time to do it, it's one of the easiest ways to grow on, youtube right now and it's one of the, easiest ways to take advantage of, youtube shorts and remember the best way, to get better at posting youtube shorts, is to actually know what you should be, posting about which we're about to cover, next in this video and by far this is, the most important part of the video, because we're going to talk about what, you need to be doing with your titles, what you need to be doing with your, thumbnails to increase that, click-through rate and to increase the, average view duration that you're, getting and then finally we're going to, go through a secret strategy at the end, of this video that i've seen take so, many creators from zero to no subs to, over a hundred thousand subs in a really, short period of time, so when it comes to your title and your, thumbnail they're both doing two, different things your thumbnail isn't, necessarily going to increase your, average view duration what it is going, to do is increase your click-through, rate so your thumbnail needs to invoke, curiosity you could do this by having, certain text on the screen you could do, this by having an authority on the, screen for example if you're creating a, video about the latest thing that elon, musk did i wouldn't have you as the, thumbnail of the video i would have elon, musk as the thumbnail of the video you, want to have whatever authority it is, the same way that if you're doing a, fitness video about getting a six-pack, you don't want to have just you talking, as the thumbnail you want to actually, have a six-pack as the thumbnail, whatever the video is about whatever, you're displaying whatever you're, creating curiosity about that is what, you need to have in the thumbnail to, increase the click-through rate and to, get more people to actually watch that, video the second thing you need to make, sure that you're doing when it comes to, your titles is you need to be invoking, curiosity you need to do this for two, reasons one it's going to increase your, average view duration which is going to, get your video pushed more in the, youtube algorithm second thing you need, to make sure that you're doing is you, need to have a keyword whatever you're, trying to target because youtube isn't, going to be able to push out your piece, of content if they don't know who to, push it to and the youtube algorithm, knows how to push out your content from, four different things one the tags on, your videos two the keywords in your, description three the key words in your, title and then finally the keywords that, you're saying within the actual video, because you need to understand youtube, is transcribing every single video, they're taking that data and they're, actually looking at that when they, determine who should we push this piece, of content to so please make it, incredibly easy for youtube to be able, to push that piece of content and make, it invoke curiosity and really speak to, whatever viewer you're talking to and, that is how you're going to get more, views and more subscribers on youtube, right now but that's not it this one, other secret strategy that i've seen so, many small creators implement it's, allowing them to blow up especially in, crowded niches, and that strategy that is helping so, many small creators grow from really, small creators to a hundred thousand two, hundred thousand a million in a really, short period of time is making sure that, you're producing two different types of, content the first type of content is, recommendations content which is, complementary to the second type of, content you're going to be creating, which is search based content search, based content is so important on shorts, right now if you guys remember back 10, years ago eight years ago five years ago, ranking for search on youtube was the, thing that you wanted to do for two, reasons one you got views forever on, your videos the second reason is you, were able to then be able to sell people, things because you actually know the, intent through what you're going for you, know exactly what they're going for so, you can craft a video that tells them, exactly what they want and this is why, you guys need to take advantage of this, if you want to monetize youtube if you, are able to rank for a search this is a, huge opportunity to get more, sponsorships to sell people stuff and, the easiest way to do this is to go and, look at what things people are searching, for within your niche create videos, around that in specific shorts content, around that and then make complementary, videos to that for example if you make a, video about how to lose weight that, video might then rank and search and, then you can create a ton of other, videos around the diet you should do, exercise you should do all of those, things and then put at the end of the, video how to lose weight and what that's, gonna do is it's gonna allow those, videos to get then recommended to people, that are searching for that so not only, are you getting a view from the person, that is searching for that piece of, content but then your videos are also, getting recommended to these people and, this protects you because if somebody, searches for how to lose weight they see, your video they don't click on it that, actually allows youtube to say hey this, is what these people are interested in, if you make complimentary videos around, that then you will also get the chance, to get recommended to that person later, on as opposed
